Sure there are many advantages, but both the United States and Mexico have not entirely benefited from NAFTA. Mexico’s farmers have been basically pushed into oblivion with the aid of NAFTA’s premises. Also, NAFTA led to a significant decline in the US’s manufacturing jobs. NAFTA seems to be superbly formulated but has several downfalls for all countries involved.
