I believe the concept of separate countries in itself is in a way inherently immoral, so no.

I'm not American either, doesn't mean I'm incapable of empathy and therefore don't care what happens to American citizens.

Nice attempt at a joke using references to current events. Like it makes a difference who America's president is, they're all the same party, the election is just to choose which colour you prefer.

What does that even mean?

It's a joke, Axey.

I reckon Obama will probably get this one, because he has a better public image. It doesn't really matter, they are essentially the same party. And both are murdering thieving anti-freedom bastards.

I love Guinness and Bud, but the day I support Romney is the day I tattoo dicks on my eyes.

"Fascism is just extreme authoritarianism"

Authoritarianism is already an extreme, fascism is just what we call right wing authoritarianism. Left wing authoritarianism is usually called Stalinism if it's communist.

"Now I know in recent times "

Not really, we've had the same definition of fascism since the rise of fascism in the early 20th century.

The problem with using the word fascist is that fascism is a political belief system in itself, embodying extreme nationalism and requiring a dictator. Extreme authoritarianism isn't necessarily nationalistic or dictatorial, sometimes it focuses on an ideal rather than a national identity, like Stalin's Russia.

Socialism is not midway between communism and capitalism. Socialism is between communism and centrism. Centrism is between communism and free market capitalism.

None of them can develop superpowers without a source of radioactivity.

Not really, socialism is left of centrism. And yes, Hitler and Stalin were both extreme authoritarians, but the term fascist is used to describe authoritarian views that are centre right in nature, hence why we call Hitler "far right" when really, economically, he was a bit of a leftie. I'm not saying Stalin wasn't a totalitarian authoritarian prick, I'm just saying you should use those words instead of fascist.

I'm aware of the political compass, and if you take a look through their website, you'll see that Hitler is still positioned right of centre.

Hitler was partially socialist, but not in the usual sense. Rather than seeking elimination of class and equality, he actually wanted to keep the hierachial class system of Germany, but make the workers stronger so that Germany overall would be stronger. Oh, and it's probably worth mentioning that one of Hitler's main aims was the eradication of communism, hence the tension between him and Stalin in the Nazi-Soviet pact.

I don't think fascist is the correct word to describe Stalin however, I think authoritarian makes more sense when describing a left wing analogy, as fascism is usually associated with the right wing. Of course, this is due to the outdated one dimensional political spectrum and is merely a linguistic construct.

Either way, yes, both were authoritarian totalitarian ballbag touchers.

Yes, it should be the responsibility of the individual to attend school. If they fail because they don't go to lessons, it's their fault.

If God did exist he would essentially be the ultimate fascist dictator.

The world is a tragedy to those who feel and a comedy to those who think. And for those who feel and think, it is an odd mixture of both.

Unless you've been living the majority of your life in some amish colony - I don't see how you could reach such a conclusion.

Actually I'm a teenager living in a rather affluent area of England.

The availability of contraception and the possibility of abortion - both of these things encourage promiscuity and sex for the sake of pleasure.

Why is that a bad thing? It just means that having sex is no longer a huge risk.

Sex used to be deeply ingrained in marriage

And now people are realising that some guy in a costume saying magic words is a completely arbitrary benchmark in relation as to when sex should occur. People are realising that sex is part of a healthy relationship and they don't need an outdated ritual to sanctify it.

, sex is just another means to pleasure

It can be, what's your point?

selfish needs

Sounds like someone's got the wrong idea. Try giving head?

astronomical increase in divorce rates

Oh no, the horror, people are no longer being forced to stay in an unhappy and destructive realationship if they don't want to!

You could lock your 12 year old boy in his room and he would still know all the fine details about sex and he'd mostly have lost his virginity by then as well.

Well, I wish I was that lucky.

Teenage pregnancy is a horror upon modern culture.

You can't stop teenagers having sex, what you can do is teach the how to do it properly. There's a reason that teen pregnancy rates are lowered the more in depth sex education children receive.

host television reality shows over it, giving positive reinforcement to this idiocy.

I don't think you've been around young people much. When a girl in high school gets pregnant, you better believe she's in for several months, if not years of varying forms of abuse from strangers and friends alike.

Why would an atheist be sociopathic enough to care about such a ridiculous and trivial detail? We have no reason to get wrapped up in traditions which make no sense and contribute to the degradation and subjugation of women.

And you can ask a woman. You can't ask God if he's there. And God is a physical presence which could be proved with solid evidence. Virginity is a concept made up of various events, and is therefore never 100% provable.

Could be, I reckon the safest bet is there isn't.

I think most forms of religion are. When I was into religious stuff, it was because I want it so badly to be true, I want spirits and demons and dragons to be real, and I want monsters to blame for everything and easy answers, but all I have is reality. Yeah, reality sucks sometimes, but reality seems to be all there is.

I really hope I'm wrong.

Wait, was my argument just deleted? Can't handle facts eh?

Not at all. It just encourages misinformation about the opposite sex, social awkwardness, and chauvinism.

That society would not exist in the first place. Our evolutionary morality is determined by the most reasonable response in order to maintain health and structure in a group. Raping babies damages babies. Damaging babies goes against our primary purpose, which is reproduction and nurturing of our own genes, hence why baby harming is irrational and therefore considered immoral by our instincts.

I think prayer makes people feel better because talking to someone about your problems helps. Even if that person isn't real, it will still make you feel better if you believe they are.

What I realised was that I wasn't talking to God about my problems, I was talking to myself. And that helped.
