This argument clearly is showing how the U.K is becoming the '51st state.' This argument has been presented time and time again, the U.K must work to loosen ties between U.K and U.S. Britain's future lies in Europe...

I believe that the U.S as a whole is sadly, weaker. If there was to be a war between China and the U.S.A, China would easily win. Being realistic, overall; the U.S.A is no longer a superpower...

YES! Let them join, this will force them to modernise and will only benefit our culture. It is our civil duty to improve their lifestyles.

Well of course, and to call U.S.A an empire is just ignorant. The U.K still holds the commonwealth, which in my opinion is just a nicer form of an imperialistic family of dominion of countries= Empire. If the U.K wanted to they could team up with Europe and the commonwealth and pretty much take over the world again!
