It's far from too soon to forget. Rather or not people agree with all the attention/ lack of attention being given to the day, ask anyone, they will remember where they were at the time.

There is no way to regulate that. What are you going to do when a fourteen year old gets pregnant? What about the amish?

Studies have shown (look at cities in Australia) that when you disarm a population crime rates go up because people no longer have the fear of people defending themselves.

I believe it is all just more taxes. I have done extended research on the topic and have not found any statistics that show the percentage of people smoking has decreased with new taxes.
