I must point out that the argument that you appreciate was constructed by a brain containing large amounts of THC. One of the many positive aspects of using marijuana is creativity and many studies have shown this.
As for the strength of marijuana these days? You're right, but I don't think you even know the extent of it. The strains coming out these days are crazy. The really cool kids aren't even smoking weed anymore. The new wave is dabbing BHO's and ISO's, which are marijuana concentrates of those crazy potent new strains. If you take these oil extracts and superheat them quickly, (by heating a piece of metal or glass to red hot) you get a vapor that contains extreme amounts of THC.
Anyway, even with all these crazy new ways of getting massive amounts of THC to your brain, there is no marijuana induced psychosis here. Psychosis entails "a loss of contact with reality". I get straight A's at a university, run a small business, and I am constantly under the influence of marijuana. I am literally never sober and I do just fine.
I understand that some people don't handle marijuana well, but I feel the need to point out that some of us do and it helps us greatly with problems like anxiety. Not everyone is a typical stoner that gets the munchies and acts like a doof, some of us have shit to do.

From resistance to malaria to height to eye and hair color, the diversity of the human race is immense and no other species varies to the degree we do. There are smart people and stupid people, good students and bad. Gender is relevant. If you want to get right down to grades and graduation rates, different areas have different winners, but overall the numbers are similar. My view is that men and women are equal, although both excel in certain areas.
As far as the maths and sciences, as you mentioned, they are dominated by men. Judging by graduation rates and grades, women are horrible students in these areas. Men also have similar deficiencies in certain subjects.

The second part of this statement I actually agree with. Unfortunately, you are out of touch with what is going on out there.
There are several ways to use marijuana without smoking it. I'm sure you already know of one or two. Making weed brownies is a good example. That is one way to use marijuana without smoking it.
Another way is vaporization. Many marijuana users do not like to smoke marijuana. We smoke something called BHO which is basically a marijuana extract. If you take this oil and super heat it (much hotter than fire), you will get a water vapor that is loaded with THC. This process requires special equipment but it gets you super high without any of the carcinogenic tar involved with smoke.
Marijuana is perfectly legal for recreational use in my city. Seattle is a great example for you. We have legalized marijuana and the sky is not falling.
Here, where marijuana is totally legal, crime rates are falling and we are looking forward to a big boost in state revenue when we get our weed stores up and running. Here the issue is settled, we are in favor of personal liberties. No more denial and propaganda about marijuana. The only issue Washingtonians are talking about is whether it should be legal to allow employment drug tests for marijuana or not.
I think in 2013 people are finally growing up and being adults about marijuana, at least some of us.
I don't think progress is "boring" at all. No, everyone being smart, handsome, strong and healthy is pretty exciting to me.
How about your kids living to be 150 years old? You don't want them to have that? How about them living a life with perfect vision and hearing, with healthier organs that last longer and repair themselves better?
