George Washington was the best president.
This is not a cop-out answer.
He was an incredible general.
He served in various positions before the presidency just to be a servant.
He denounced political parties because he knew they would divide the nation.
He instated a sort of isolationism and in his farewell speech he advised the nation to stay away from other nations problems and to avoid treaties with them.
I believe that our nation would be in much better shape if we had heeded to Washington's farewell speech.
