I understand you're argument but there a big gap in this logic. If any person with his mind set on kidnapping a kid would not late at night, its unpredictable. And regarding your argument about curfews preventing kidnappings is ridiculous. "Son, I am giving you a curfew. Next time someone tries to kidnap you just let him know you have to be home on time and he will leave you alone." The idea is ridiculous. I do have to give you credit somewhat albeit small, the idea of kids having a curfew is one of the reasons pedophiles and kidnappers dont commit their crimes at night.
