Conclusion:
In the short-run, modern technology may not always improve the quality of people's lives as the problems that arise cannot be solved with immediate effect. However, if we look at it in the long-run, modern technology is able to improve the quality of our lives all the time. Even when new problems and challenges are posed to us because of modern technology, these problems would be solved by further advances in modern technology. Thus, I conclude that modern technology always improves the quality of people's lives.
