I was disappointed with Bush's speech. His delivery was canned and flat. Sort of like Obama when he's not using his campaign style. He will have to get a lot more enthusiasm into it, or else he won't even get the nomination.

Besides style - how about substance. Is he too Democrat-lite for you?

My prediction is Jeb Bush with Susana Martinez as V.P.

As long as it isn't Rand Paul or, even worse, Ted Cruz.

Would be interested to see how Jeb Bush would distance himself from Jr. though.

Yea - will be interesting to see how he handles that - might be easier with a Clinton on the other side of the ticket since some of the arguments would cut both ways. The hard part will be the primary - how do you appeal enough to the right without becoming unelectable.

I think I would like to see Rand be President for about 6 months - long enough to add some transparency, audit the Fed, etc., but not long enough to drive the country into a ditch.

The Republicans should nominate a conservative who isn't far to the right. Someone who doesn't have a lot of baggage. I think Scott Walker and Marco Rubio would make a great team.

There would be a minority on the ticket but better yet the Democrats can't claim "another rich white guy" like they did with McCain and Romney.

While I personally oppose and do not like either Walker or Rubio, I have to say that would definitely be an effective ticket. Conservative without being too conservative, Hispanic appeal, and already has the support base set up. Only issue I can think of would be that they wouldn't mobilize some of the core base of the Republican Party, such as the "Tea Party" types, as well as the Evangelical Wing. That being said, if they are running against a ticket like Hillary - Warren, that would be all the mobilization they would need.

One thing I see with Jeb is that he couldn't have Rubio as his V.P. since they are both from the same state - makes me wonder if Rubio will be tougher on him than he would otherwise.

Maybe joe_cavalry should run.

OK maybe not the first, but clearly the one with the best rack.

Joe's a red neck?

I think Jeb Bush has the GOP nomination all sewn up. I think the Bush family will not allow anyone to take the nomination away from Jeb.
