Trump got just short of HALF the votes, certainly just short of HALF
the military voted for him. Therefore, it stands to reason that just short of HALF the soldiers supposedly "PROTECTING" Biden, are insurrectionists just like the rioters.
Is that gonna pose a problem?

First, the FBI is vetting guardsman at the Capitol out of this very concern. It's reasonable to think that some tasked with protecting the inauguration believe Trump's rhetoric. Second, supposing that the military population is proportional to the general population is a mistake. The military is typically disproportionately Republican. It would not be a stretch to suppose that more than half of the people protecting the inauguration voted for Trump. Third, supposing that a Republican vote means support for insurrection is completely fallacious. If it were true, close to half the population, including most gun owners, the majority of the military, and majority of police would all have mobilized on January 6th and the conversation today would be very different from concerns for the Presidential transition. Side: Yes, there are.. WORRY

It's not to say they are harmless, really no one is harmless in this circumstance, but believing a lie doesn't mean they won't do their jobs. Some may act up and side with the terrorists, but most are people that realize their jobs and opinions don't always go hand in hand, yet still do their jobs. Side: Nahh.. They're HARMLESS
