AIDS was caused by God for man having fallen astray from the Ten Commandments!

From the Fortean Times #171 p.9

"There is an African tradition that portentious messages are often delivered by animals. According to Ugandan State Radio in June 1992, a goat proclaimed that the AIDS epidemic was a divine punishment for disobeying the Ten Commandments. The goat spoke in a "loud, terrifying voice" to the villagers of Kyabagala, but died a few hours later."

If it was Jew specific, I would contend it is possible.

Albeit, I would be interested to know which species of animal is impacted most by A.I.D.S.

(I have yet to hear of some scientist somewhere teaching primates to wear condoms to stop the spreading of aids.)

Note: if someone will point me in the proper direction I can argue for or against the specificity of the victims of Aids.

Sure, why not because in the ten commandments it said. Though shalt not have sex with all and sundry and though shalt not covet thy neighbors ass... oh, wait scratch that last one:):):)

Seriously though, the ten commandments say nothing about animal bothering and it is known that AIDS or HIV comes from, the simian SIV virus. One would infer that humans would have to have been acquiring "knowledge" of certain primates in order to have contracted it. Although that would just be guessing as there are many ways that it could have been transmitted.

The thing is though if God created AIDS in order to punish man his method of delivery is somewhat suspect. If it was to punish him for straying from the ten commandments then he should probably put that in there from the start.

Side: True

Too bad the goat died. I would have liked to ask him why God created cancer.

Side: False

Lesbians don't get AIDS so the religious condemnation is a futile attack.
