This would be a fantastic idea. I wish I had learned Spanish when I was younger and still able to learn things well. Now I can't understand it for the life of me!

Yes, because only speaking one language labels you as a boring and lame person. Unless your first language is some tribal language that's so cool, you don't need a second language.

This argument is ridiculous. You think people should be forced to learn a second language against their will because if they don’t they are boring. People shouldn’t be forced to do anything against their wishes, especially if it is for a dumb reason like this.

I do agree, people should not be forced to learn languages against their will. It is un-democratic, but learning another language does enhance the learner.

I think I'd agree with that.. but, we should still learn and be fluent with our own language first. It would be hard to communicate with other people if we have different languages at an area.

No. I support the idea that people should learn a second language, however, learning a second language should not be mandatory, because if we live in a free nation, we should not be forced to do anything.
