A random scenario.

You're in a war and some guy with a three hundred foot long sword plunges it into your left shoulder close to your pec, and then into the ground 250 feet Then breaks the hilt off. You want to continue fighting, but you're kind of stuck there so which of these options would you choose to continue fighting as quickly as possible?

a. Climb 50 feet up the sharp sword, then climb or jump down the 50 feet. With the potential risks from climing a sword, or jumping from 50 feet.

b. Pull the sword 250 feet out of the ground. With the potential risks of pulling a sword by the blade, and the weight of it.

c. Yank your body free cutting whatever was in the way. With whatever potential problems that could exist from cutting a big part of your body.

If you choose to partake, please explain why you'd choose the option that you chose.

I'd go with option b just because the prospect of climbing a sharp blade with a 50 foot drop at the end doesn't sound so appealing, and I'd be too soft to cut my own body intentionally.

D) Time the second attack, swiftly dead-legging him with my legs, causing a fall to the blade. after contact with the blade, i would pull my legs down causing him to chop in two.

I would pick option b because with the sword being through the left shoulder you would have the potential risk of hitting your heart while pulling it out. And with option A you could fall and that wouldn't have a very good outcome.

I would choose Option B because it seems the most logical escape.
