I do not need to explain my belief! I just think that it is appalling that a mother would want to kill her wether considered human yet or not because she does not want to deal with it and thinks it would be beter for the child to be dead in the first place.

If you are going to make a claim, you do need to explain your antichoice belief.

Abortion is a Selfish act. I see on here that some try to condone it by saying things like, "well if the baby is going to be deformed, etc..." Once that sperm hits that egg you then have human life in the making, and it is murder despite at what stage.

I take more of a middle ground stance on abortion but I definitely lean towards a pro-life ideology, mostly because I believe that the woman and the unborn child's perspectives are both equally important, that is why I believe that there is a time and a place for abortion being in the first 12 weeks and when the mothers life is at risk and I would leave the rape/incest issue up to the states.

So it's ok to kill children before a certain age? The way I see it is you're either for abortion or you're against it! Abortion is the cowardly way out of things! Why not put your child up for adoption if you're not ready or willingly to raise them? That's a win win! The child gets life and a licing family who may not have been able to have kids, and the mother can carry on with her life.

Abortion is your choice that you make to change your life. No one is pushing you to do abortion, people who does abortion they are sinners in-front of God eyes. To do abortion you knows what are the outcomes from it, you know that you are taking a innocent life away which God has given to you as a gift. Gifts will never come in good way they also comes in bad ways but they are still blessings. This problem of abortion should be taken serious, to kill a innocent child from your worm it's a huge sin and you will be a killer.

Though, I don't agree that the 10 Arguments presented are necessarily the best 10 that could be presented, I support the side against abortion on demand.

I am for the choice of the mother, in decided whether or not she wants to bring another life into this world before it arrives.

Making that decision should then come before the sperm lands on the egg. After that, how can you still think that it is her decision...to then kill???

It's not killing it if it wouldn't be able to live without being inside her, it's removing it's host.

In the other thread, you conceded that a child in the womb is already a child.

If she's is pregnant and carrying a child... it has already arrived.

Hasn't it?

Side: Pro-Life!
Quocalimar(6470) Disputed

No it has not, I never said the child have arrived. The child is not aware yet so it does not get any rights to life. It can not object so it's the mother's choice.

1. With today's technology a woman can know if her baby will be healthy or not which will save her a lot of heartache in the future.

2. If the baby might kill her should she have to keep it (rare cases)

3. Teen pregnancies happen whether we like it or not. Should she be subject to criticism while the father leaves to a normal life or is perceived as "cool."

Don't children in the fetal stages of their life have bodies too?

They do. Don't they?

The arguments for pro-life are not applicable to the religious outlook of the 21st Century in any civilised nation.

North Korea embraces atheism, and I personally embrace Satanism, because we have come to realise that god is just a load of shit.

Side: Pro-Choice!

I decide when I want to be a parent, and I decide when I'm ready to parent.

Every woman who lives in a country with free abortions should honor that, be thankful for it, because many many women don't, and instead they will hurt themselves, put their own lives in danger, in order to remove the fetus.

I believe it should be the individual who chooses not the government, if someone cannot afford a child or an accident ie condom split etc or baby would be handicapped.

You shouldn't kill a baby because they are handicapped! Handicapped people are not of lesser value than us and that ARGUEMENT makes me sick! If you don't want a child, don't have sex!!!!

Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy. Contraception is a right.

Side: Pro-Choice!

If someone is a strict constructionist who interprets the Constitution word for word, the sanction for abortion is given under the Fourteenth Amendment.

The Fourteenth Amendment of our U.S. Constitution defines a citizen “a citizen” at birth. If a woman is carrying a fetus in the womb, the U.S. Constitution does not designate the fetus as “a citizen.” It would take an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to declare a fetus a citizen. You have to be born in order to be recognized as a citizen. Therefore, a woman does have the right to choose. A fetus inside the womb is not designated as a citizen according to the U.S. Constitution so by default is not entitled to life, liberty, or prosperity. You have to be born in order to be endowed with those privileges. To conclude, neither the Federal government nor any of the States can deny a woman the right to choose.

If abortion is murder, abortion would have been terminated years ago due to the cruel and unusual punishment clause under the Eighth Amendment. Again, proof that a fetus is not recognized as a citizen of the United States of America.
