Adam and Eve married not Adam and Steve
Unless they married in Eden, then they also had no witness, no 'home of god', no pastor, no ceremonial bands. I'm an inexperienced, never married, non Christian so that's all I know about the things required for a traditional Christian wedding, so imagine all the things I must be leaving out. Adam and Steve did not marry. Neither did Adam and Eve. There was no church. There was no officiant. Thus, no wedding. The definition of Marriage: the formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife. Recognition by law is not inherently required for marriage. In fact why should a legal medium exist? Shouldn't the two lovers be able to decide for themselves? 1
