I hope this means an end to the Republican party. I'm watching Texas like a hawk. If Texas goes blue the GOP is fucked. Actually, that was already going to happen in a few more election cycles but I'm hoping that Trump will make it happen tomorrow. Trump has made Republican a dirty word. After they burry the corpse they'll regroup under a new name. I wonder if they'll cut the pretense and just call the next incarnation the Nazi party. With a little luck the Democrats will take all three branches, stack the court and run the fucking game for the next 50 years. Side: Agree
Damn, I can't make my mind up. Now I don't think I want the GOP to go away completely. They could stick around and be a punching bag for a few decades. Probably better to have a GOP in a greatly diminished form to give the impression that by belonging to it, the GOP would have relevancy - but in reality it wouldn't. It would just serve as a decoy to dissuade the hillbillies from forming a real political party. One things for sure, this is gonna be interesting. Side: Agree

Well..., first of all, human beings make mistakes. Second of all, no one can prove, beyond any doubt, that the same number of people would not have died any way. Third of all, maybe it was better that they died (smaller carbon foot print, less global warming, fewer people in rush hour traffic, etc.) ;) Side: Nein Nein Nein!

Well..., first of all, human beings make mistakes. Yup, and the smart ones learn from them. The really smart ones learn from other people's. They don't point fingers everywhere else like the CDC, the WHO, China, liberal governors etc... because they lack the emotional maturity to admit they have made a mistake which has cost hundreds of thousands of people their lives. Third of all, maybe it was better that they died (smaller carbon foot print, less global warming, fewer people in rush hour traffic, etc.) ;) Shut up you idiot. Side: Agree

BIRX: US could see up to 200,000 coronavirus deaths if 'we do things almost perfectly' - White House coronavirus response coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx. March 30, 2020. Doesn't matter who is president. We were destined to see virus deaths above 200,000. In March it was a projection. Now it's reality. The posed argument that Trump caused 200,000+ deaths due to negligence is false. Side: Nein Nein Nein!

US could see up to 200,000 coronavirus deaths if 'we do things almost perfectly Hi Bronto. It is very strange that you are quoting something Birx said a year ago given this morning's news:- Birx warns US entering ‘deadly phase’ of Covid, contradicting Trump’s message https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/ So currently there are 231,000 deaths, 10 million infected, and Birx is saying the worst is yet to come. Your stupid pro-Trump bias doesn't Trump the facts I'm afraid. Side: Agree
