All the money in the world <3

If you could gather all the money in the world in a pile - how much would it be?

And if you had the chance, would you share it equally with all the people on earth?

Some sites I've been reading say, that if someone did that, we would all end up with 9000 us. dollars.

I have no idea about the first question, and I can't be bothered to look it up. $100 trillion? Fuck if I know.

The second part is more interesting. I certainly wouldn't share it with every person on Earth. I wouldn't share it with every person in Britain. I wouldn't share it with every person in Worksop, my hometown. I wouldn't share it with everyone in my school. Hell I might not even share it with everyone in my house.

Why? Simple: Why have less money when you can have more? It's greedy, cynical, selfish and unfair. Meh, I can live with that if I got $100 trillion.

People are far too worried about what others think about them. You think I'm an asshole? Sorry, I couldn't hear you over the engine on my new sports car.

This is only a quasi serious post, but yea, fuck sharing, gimme dem moneys honey

I would likely share the money on a "sign in" basis.

Obviously, I would hire people to do farming world wide so that all people get food. I will also heavily invest in thorium technology so that oil can be replaced with this safe, cheap and high energy output alternative, and after supplying free food and free energy, and using the existing housing infrastructure, perhaps dividing up very large houses into smaller apartments where people or families can share kitchens, but have separate bedrooms.

And of course, for people willing to innovate, I would offer huge cash rewards. Promise to get a bunch of people together to build houses? Cha-ching, they get paid. With free food and housing already, this would allow them to work not just for free, but with an incentive. This works for anything, if you want to develop new medicine, then get an education, also free, due to people who are willing to teach what they know, having no need to make money because of the already free housing and food, combined with incentives for doing the teaching, and once you use university labs to develop drug prototypes, you'll get funded. Obviously people who do nothing in life, just sitting around and doing the bare minimum will probably die off without impressing females or males and having children, leading to a more innovative society where those who desire to go above and beyond, not for profit, but just for the benefit of humanity itself would thrive, letting us live in a near utopian setting.

War would be impossible, for how could you get weapons with no money? What would you fight over? With energy needs and food provided for all, along with housing and perhaps internet, why fight each other?

Of course, such a situation would be extremely difficult to manage, but eh. If I magically received all the money, I would probably do something similar to that.

I'm speechless ;)

Which is great for the people that had nothing to start with. But if you've saved your whole life and all you have left is $9,000, then you screwed.

If I were to have all the money in the world, that would leave the rest of the world with nothing... I think they would have kicked me out of their world and make me the odd one.

But if I had all the money in the world and everybody was to obey me, I would rule by dictatorship.

I can't calculate the entire money in the world but if I had the pile of it, of course, I would share.
