CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.
To learn more about the CreateDebate scoring system, check out the FAQ.
When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.

Alt-Reich Hero Jordan Peterson Stripped Of Cambridge Fellowship
A controversial Canadian academic had his offer of a fellowship rescinded by the University of Cambridge after he was pictured with a man wearing a t-shirt with the slogan “I’m a proud Islamophobe”, the vice-chancellor has said.
Stephen Toope has said alt-right figurehead Jordan Peterson's "casual endorsement" by association was believed to be "antithetical" to the work of the Faculty of Divinity at the prestigious institution.
This is why I require the persona 'mingiwuwu' and such. Do shit with your real identity attached and the Illuminati-supported Institutions will bastardise you and cuck you like nothing else until you either give in or are so humiliated and hated that too few listen and dare to admit they agree.
I'm not saying I agree with JP on everything, I'm saying that there are reasons I dare not come out as a flat-earther or hater of Sharia Law and much else IRL.
Someone has to remove the veil or the masses will be slaves forever. If those who know the truth are afraid to speak it publicly then we are screwed. Of course JP and flat earthers are not the ones who have the truth, but this idea that you should cuck yourself to the lies to avoid be cucked by the illuminati (capitalist establishment which at the top is still controlled by hereditary nobility) is basically akin to lubing your own anus for the prison gang rape.
And using the prison 'daddy' to defend you and using everyone in a masterful web until you're the one they take it from and you control who is who... You make them be where, how and when; top of the fucking food chain.
it is usually better to know something that most don't
You know as well as I do that you don't know the earth is flat, we determined that through our discussions on the topic. Your entire education on flat earth logistics comes from youtube videos of other flat earth proponents who attempt to show the earth is flat by placing a camera on a tennis court.
The fervour with which you loathe me, mock me and spit at my metaphorical face across the Internet is nothing more than your failure to be calm and rational enough to perceive the truth without ego and sheep-think involved.
But, you haven't formed an argument for a flat earth, no one has.
In fact, we even got down to the very basics of violating Newton's laws of motion, which your claims do violate, despite the fact it has never occurred anywhere in nature. We then went on further to establish you didn't know those laws, couldn't come up with an explanation, so you just disappeared.
Yes, only the third and first laws of Newton would be true under the coherent flat-earth model that I believe in. Einstein already debunked Newton at the quantum level, it's simply assumed it's true at a bigger level because people trust NASA.
Einstein already debunked Newton at the quantum level
Wtf? No he didn't.
Newton's theories were all based on the notion that time has an absolute value and Einstein proved that time does not have an absolute value. Quantum physics didn't even exist in Newton's time. It really started with Max Planck and his paper on black body radiation at the turn of the twentieth century.
only the third law of Newton would be true under the coherent flat-earth model
But, the flat earth model violates all three laws among a host of others.
Einstein already debunked Newton
No, he didn't. He corrected Newton on a few points. Other than that, Newtons laws hold.
Sorry, you're really going to have to put your big boy pants on for this and try to come up with something valid. Right now, you're just shooting blanks.
Looks like your alt LordofIdiocy is down voting me and up voting you again. It's funny how you still believe voting has any relevance whatsoever. So childish.
My "ridiculous claim", as you put it, is common knowledge to any child who has ever attended middle school. Get out of my debate you pig-stupid idiot.
The very night the Berlin Observatory received the theoretical prediction of Urbain Le Verrier -- working 169 years after Newton's Principia -- they found our Solar System's 8th planet within one degree of its predicted position. And yet, Newton's laws were about to prove insufficient for what was to come.
The problem all started not at the outer reaches of the Solar System, but in the innermost regions: with the planet Mercury, orbiting closest to the Sun.
The first and third law are actually the same law, I do not know why they just split those two elements of the same law. How is that law not operating in a Flat Earth?
NASA has absolutely nothing to do with this. They do not determine the shape of the earth, that is done by a completely different organization, which you simply are ingnorant to understand.
I'm not saying I agree with JP on everything, I'm saying that there are reasons I dare not come out as a flat-earther or hater of Sharia Law and much else IRL.
Bwahahahaha! Your stupidity knows no bounds. Sharia Law is Conservatism on steroids you ass clown! The same moron that fears Christianity and conservatism has no concern at all about an extremist religious law where gays are executed, adulterers are stoned, alcohol and drugs are forbidden, Atheism is punishable by death, and women are 10th class citizens! It probably takes you hours to get your clothes on in the morning...
That’s reasonable. It makes what he is doing all the more admirable as an example of uncommon courage.
Also, the only connection I saw between him and the alt right was when the daily stormer raised against him as a father figure for supposedly raising a slut of a daughter. He didn’t seem like their hero at all.
Another example of a public outing where finger wagging P C idiots take offence at anything that upsets them which seems to be everything , nothing wrong with being in the company of a person wearing a T shirt proclaiming oneself to be an Islamaphobe , it’s a ridiculous term used by over sensitive Muslims to shut criticism up of their brutal primitive belief system.
Islamophobia .....is the fear, hatred of, or prejudice against, the Islamic religion or Muslims generally, especially when seen as a geopolitical force or the source of terrorism.
There’s fuck all wrong with fearing Islam or detesting it as it’s a brutal , regressive, divisive belief system with no place in a so called progressive society

Yeah, good point. Same goes for fat people. I hate on fat people whenever I see them because I fear them, and there's fuck all wrong with being scared of fat people.
Classic Liberals were the modern day Libertarians of their time. It's Right-Wing to be it.
The modern day Left-wing Liberals were back then known as the Republicans (I shit you not) and the biggest example of this was that it was this group who brutally overthrew the right-wing Conservative Royalists of France in one of the most political-terminology defining moments in history where a lot of things began to change politically, as well as linguistically with regards to the politics.
