Angela Merkel says she will deport 100,000 Migrants
In one of the most shocking flip-flops in recent political history, German Chancellor Angela Merkel now says she will deport about 10% of recently arrived migrants -- 100,000 of them.But more than that, her tone on granting asylum to migrants has radically changed.Speaking at a conference yesterday evening the Chancellor revealed that she expects 100,000 migrants to leave Germany this year, of which a third will be forcibly removed. From stoutly defending her open-borders policy as being "consistent with German and western values," she now demands "repatriation, repatriation and once more, repatriation.”
Will what is the about face that the German Chancellor has done ? The Left praised her for her open borders view but what attack will she come under now from the Radical Left ?

Merkel is trying to gain extra support because she is not as popular as she once was , in fairness though what's wrong with wanting to deport illegals ? If you're iileagal in any country you've no right to be there , I cannot understand the sense of outrage that some of the PC brigade are feeling at this entirely rational decision ... Here is what Merkel said .... It is estimated that some 215,000 migrants have been denied the right to stay in Germany over the last 18 months, most because they come from countries in eastern Europe and north Africa which are not ravaged by war. Mrs Merkel is now insisting that resources must be concentrated on refugees fleeing war and turmoil who genuinely needed support, and that public acceptance for asylum seekers can only be maintained by deporting economic migrants trying to abuse the system. Obama has deported THOUSANDS of "illegals" because the law demands it. Merkel has reached, and over-reached the point where Germany can afford to take in those deposed by war. The OLD American way was to do our best to save humanity. The NON-PC's among U.S., frankly, don't like THEIR religion ..... Well, that's American Christianity ... you're either with us or agin' us! That doesn't fly with our Constitution, but, going by the Constitution WOULD be "PC" and we wouldn't want that, now , would we?? Just leave those women and children to die. Do NOT take any of them! Hmmmm, Let's see, What would a REAL Christian do?? There MUST be something in the Bible about taking care of the needy, about opening your arms to help "GOD'S Creations". THEY believe in "God" also. A different "book of rules" ... they say THEIR book is correct ... who knows?? Anyway, the only one I read say's to help GOD'S children .... all of them. That's the good part. I can't vouch for the authenticity, but, many of the ideas ... I like. They're just common sense. |
