Animals fell pain and the way humans are treating them is inhumane. Apparently the little amount of animal rights we have now are not enough. We need to do more. Some animals are proven to be of equal to or close to humans intelligence so shouldn't they have the same rights. Arguing that others don't doesn't stop that they do. Should they lose out on rights because others aren't at there intelligence level yet. Side: Good

I say...Yes, animals should be granted animal rights because they are creatures that live on this world, not only us. Don't we forget we are animals too, in a higher level than them. They constitute also with world balance. Without them how would the world live? If we are the highest form of animals, why would we abuse them? The problem is with the people..abusive people lurking everywhere. Why do they intend to kill animals? They are lower level than us. It looks your the fool, exchanging your money with a smaller amount of money. Your money won't be a whole without your centavo. It's like we wouldn't be in this world without the help of animals! it helps scientists make a new discoveries actually in medicine. We are living in quickly development world and people are meeting new illnesses every year and sometimes preparation is not helpful. In this case scientists are researching ways to try treating illnesses as a cancer – disease before what scientists are still powerless. . Anyway I against when testing comes to beauty, trying to see if your make-up will cause an allergic reaction , I think its foolish to harm an animal for that purpose, I saw how they make testing perfume, detergent on animals; they do it without any anesthesia and animals feel a powerful pain and is horrible and shouldn't be done ever! Testing must be for a good reason like finding a cure for cancer and all kinds of different diseases or illnesses Side: Good
Human are also animals. But in different features and species. Human also are more developed and more intelligent than some of other animal species. But we depends on them. Without these animals will medicine be invented? Without them will we know that human has close genetic between chimps or apes? Without them will 'Dogs and Cat' and other movies be created?
For sure the answer would be no. Human can live and stand on our own because of these animals. But people still treat them horribly. Kill them for skin, fur, head or for only some of their parts. We should gave them rights to the animals for people to become more afraid of them so lesser animals will be harm and also give them chance to developed their own species to become more intelligent and can cope with the environment which are changing everyday. Absolutely. Animals can feel pain, depression, loneliness, starvation, and neglected. They shouldn't be able to be mistreated just because they can't say their hurt. They shouldn't be hid away in a small space, isolated, just because they can't say they are uncomfortable or lonely. Just because a being can't talk, doesn't mean it doesn't have feeling. Side: Good

Considering having 'as many, or nearly as many' rights as humans would give animals the right to vote, enroll in school, get married, take a driver's test, and so on, I would say no. They're not capable of understanding the privileges or responsibilities attached to those. I also don't think they are capable of suffering from the absence of these rights. But I do think they should be afforded rights that prevent the types of suffering they are capable of. For instance, if an animal is capable of suffering if it is kept in too small a space, then it should not be kept in too small a space. If an animal is capable of suffering if it kept alone, then it should not be kept alone. If an animal is capable of suffering without adequate mental stimulation, then it should not be deprived of adequate mental stimulation. Side: Bad

It is a part of nature and evolution for the most powerful species of animal to dominate the lower species. We are that most powerful species... to give them the same rights as us, in a way, is to actually treat them unfairly. What's fair is that we got to where we are through honest mutation. I'm sure we'll start treating animals with the same 'rights' as us once they get to where we are through honest mutation. Side: Bad
