i think it depends on what you are testing the animal for. say for cosmetics or to cure a disease. if you are trying to see if your make-up will cause a allergic reaction then no, i think its foolish to harm an animal for that purpose, however if you are trying to cure cancer then yes it is alright. however i believe as science progresses and there are more options other then animal testing, then there should be an end to it. Look, I would much rather live in a world where testing is not needed and we already know everything - but no, we don't, and we never will. Without animal testing we wouldn't have had half the medical breakthroughs we have achieved, it's as simple as that. If you actually research animal testing properly you will discover that when done properly (and by a professional) it is actually very humane. And I know we can now make artificial human cells to test on, but do you have any idea how much that costs? I did an essay on this a few years ago and got an A+, so I know what I'm talking about ;) Basically who would you rather have it tested on? Your own race? Or another race? Side: Right
