humans are animals we are smart animals. But that doesn't make humans not a animal we all are animals. I have little to no research saying that we are aliens. So we must be animals.

Are there people who argue the other side? I've heard of people refusing to classify humans as animals, but never a person arguing that all animals are human.

Humans are animals because humans like animals and so that makes sense.

We can't really know if animals have thinking intelligent minds like humans, but they might. However, animals can't really communicate with us so we automatically pin them as "dumb beasts".

What I get from this question from the times I been looking at people’s answers. Everyone and I mean everyone that says Humans are Not Animals say it’s because “Of a God” which God doesn’t exist. If you actually take the time to really think if a god was to exist what is the point of him or her to exist at all? We know for a fact that Chimpanzees are a relative to us and are in our image at a low evolutionary state. If a god wanted us to exist and to be in his image. How would he be a shape if he’s not in a physical form? If he would to exist he would be literally everything because you can’t build something out of nothing. How the universe started is beyond anything we could comprehend in our brains. And another thing about brains. If God made it so we’re in his image and gave us the ability to hunt “animals” like us why would God give them brains like us and a ability to feel hurt or any feeling and not just be a bot like you see in video games because a "God" could of done that. Why would God make apes in our image? Is he sick of us? How can you even call him a him or she? If God wasn’t a living thing it wouldn’t have the properties of a male or female like every living thing on our planet or even anything that existed or is to exist. All life is a stream of the mind that is in a physical realm. Life probably shouldn’t exist. But if it’s possible for life to be possible then almost anything is possible. 3rd. If God was to impossibly know all of knowledge he wouldn’t be possible. Because of what we found out that is that time has no end and no start, because if you count back or forward from Zero and never stop and no matter how much you go back it’s literally impossible to not add a zero. So if God was to know everything it wouldn’t happen because even God wouldn’t let God to reach the end. Because there is no End. And no matter what that wouldn’t change, not even a God can change that without destroying itself. You can always learn something because as time goes into eternity something will always change and will always have a reason gaining more knowledge in the universe or where ever the fuck we are. We might even not exist but through a stream of the mind that can see past the Past, Present, Future the Spiritual and the Unreal.

Primates are mammals

Mammals are animals

Ergo....humans are animals.

BTW..this is not an opinion, but rather is a biological fact. There is no disputing it, or room for argument. So I'm not in the mood to hear silly rebuttals from Christian Creationists who argue that we are somehow magically not animals and are above them because their book of fairy tales called the Bible says so.

I won't be responding to them. If they are so far gone as to really not believe we are simply one species of animal, I feel I am wasting my time engaging them in a discussion.

For me however the biggest different I find is animals can't conceptualize. Even the winged animals can fly with grace, ease and accuracy if you could communicate with them I doubt they could understand the principles behind a turbine engine.

If one could sit down with group of lions would they be able to grasp the concept of a universe?

The only major difference between a human being and any other land based mammal is our insistence that we're not animals. And if a chimpanzee could vocalize that belief in the same way as human beings we'd think that quaint, yet quite naive because yes indeed it is still an animal.

For those who seem to feel there is no difference between man and animal which brings the question why is there even a label recognizing man and animal?

If there those of us who subscribe to this idea that animal and man are equal then I have to say we as humans have clearly done animals and injustice, a significant injustice and that we have captured them, we have caged them, we have experimented on them, we have paraded them in zoos, we have hunted them.

We have denied them citizenship, we have refused to educate them in our prestigious schools.

Clearly with all of these atrocities directed at animals who are equal to man these animals need to be paid reparation. These animals need to be allowed to have drivers license, these animals need to be given citizenship, allowed to vote and choose which communities they want to reside in.

We animals have allowed the horrific treatment of animals to go on far too long so frankly it's time we pay the piper!
