Another communist country bites the dust! Will the communist advocacy stop?

"Cuba's communist economic model has come in for criticism from an unlikely source." Fidel Castro

Cuba says much of its suffering is caused by the 48-year-old U.S. trade embargo. The economy has also been slammed by the global economic downturn, a drop in nickel prices and the fallout from three devastating hurricanes that hit in quick succession in 2008. Corruption and inefficiency have exacerbated problems.

they need to make that into a song parody

"Another communist country bites the dust!"

but ya, woot and all, but we don't know what reform might lead the Cubans to, could be something worse then communism...like..super communism..is that a thing? that's a thing right? fuck it im trademarking that shit

Side: Communism always fails

Considering only four (China, Cuba, Laos and Vietnam) communist countries remain, Cuba has admitted that communism is failing with probably imminent changes in the future.

China seems to be doing pretty well with their pseudo-communism. That seems to be the direction the Castros want to go.

China's pretty much Totalitarianist right now. The have free trade markets, but they government has no restraints, and the people don't vote and only have the rights that the government allows them, which can be taken away at any time.

And another one gone, and another one gone

Hey, I'm gonna get you too

Another one bites the dust"

No matter how obviously flawed it is, there will always be advocates for communism...just like there are advocates for libertarianism.

Well there hasn't been a libertarian country in years. How would you know if they were flawed. I'd rather have freedom over serfdom anyday.

With libertarianism, at least, I am free otherwise I serve years in servitude to government control.

Libertarianism is not an economic policy; it's a politcal philosophy that is a strong advocate of capitalism... which has allowed for some of the greatest advancements for humanity.

Side: Communism always fails

Communist advocacy won't stop, just like liberalism won't stop being advocated.

China is not fully communist. The only reason they are doing reasonably well is because of their capitalist economy. Cuba, Laos and Vietnam are small nations and have no global power.

It will never completely stop because most who push it are more anti-American than communists. The group of anti-American,anti-capitalism will keep it on the respirator.

Side: Communism always fails

well considering communist theory wasn't applied in those countries and that communist country is an oxymoron...I would say a communist country has yet to, and well never will rise up enough to fall. A communist society on the other hand( really the ultimate in economic, political and social freedom), well its coming along quite well. :)

You mean to tell me that punishing success in order to reward failure somehow fails?
