Antrim and I agree on one thing.....

Depressingly enough, Antrim and I both agree that America needs extensive GUN CONTROL. Yes, I said it. I believe the rest of the world is also repulsed that a teenager, although technically an adult in America, was able to obtain possession of a military weapon.

Believe it, America. The situation is SO much worse than you oblivious Yankees think. And while you lot are playing the stupid card, children and adults are dying.

Some of my family lives in Mississippi, and Arkansas, and I'm extremely concerned about their well being, because of the recent events involving CHILDREN and MILITARY WEAPONS.

Just think about it, won't you?

Soon as you ban something, ppl suddenly want it. I.e. drugs, or alcohol(1920-1933)

"Obtain possession"?

We already have "extensive gun control programs" as you've said. We aren't mind readers, we can't tell who will and who won't shoot up schools. If you have a criminal background, you can't buy a gun. If you have a mental disorder, you can't buy a gun. What else can be done? Age isn't a factor, considering that the Columbine shooters were 18, and Stephen Paddock (Las Vegas shooter) was 64. So, what else can be implemented?

Civilians shouldn't own guns, period. There's no substantial evidence that they're doing much good in the hands of people that don't know what they're doing. Gun presence in America is doing much more harm than good. There are more guns than people in the US, it's no wonder gangs are able to keep themselves so heavily armed.

A study showed in 2012 only 258 cases of justifiable homicide involving civilians stopping crimes occurred; opposed to 8,300+ murders involving guns and 22,000 annual cases of deaths involving accidents with guns and suicide by guns. Criminals aren't being killed by civs owning guns in America, innocents are.

Civilians shouldn't own guns

How do you propose the government will take away our guns?

That don't know what they're doing

Then what are the shooting ranges for? People don't buy guns just because, they buy guns for self-defense. To say civilians shouldn't own guns is to say civilians shouldn't have the right to self-preservation.

There are more guns than people in the US

No, there are 20 million fewer guns in America than its population, according to the first google search.

A study showed

So you think getting rid of guns will fix that? Guns are weapons above all else, people are the ones who choose to wield them. If we were to get rid of guns, violent crime wouldn't decrease. Look at England, they have extremely strict gun control and what do they get? Knife crime; In London 2017, 12,980 knife crimes took place.

involving accidents with guns and suicide guns

Have you checked on Japan's suicide rate? They also have very strict gun control, and their suicide rate was at 19.5% in 2014, the second-highest in the world right behind Russia.

That's fine, but don't make a habit of it.
