Actually there are a few superheros that could easily defeat Aquaman. 1. The Flash - He can run near light speed, create sonic booms by snapping his fingers, phase through matter, and much more. Aquaman totes can't beat the flash. 2. Superman - Superman is pretty durable, fast, and has super strength. What would happen if Superman flew far out into space and flew back to Earth as fast a possible just to drill a hole in through it's core? Aquaman would easily lose. 3. Dr. Strange - He can transform matter, animate inanimate objects, teleport, time travel, cast illusions, take over your mind, and much more. Enough said about him. 4. Dr. Manhattan - Practically invincible controlling all matter and is probably all-knowing. Since he can view the past, present, and the future at all times. 5. The Silver Surfer - He can just about do anything. Indestructible, super fast, super strong. Had to ask my dad about all this. He knows about all this stuff. Side: other superhero wins

It entirely depends on the hero. He is a lower-middle tier hero. But he is a lot more badass than people give him credit for. Besides breathing underwater, swimming at superhuman speed and communicating with sea life he also has: Superhuman strength, estimated to be at the 80 ton range (8x Spider-Man's strength) Enhanced resilience- he can withstand incredible blunt force damage and pressure. Bullets has about the same effect on him the bb pellets have on normal humans. One would have to possess superhuman strength to cut him with a blade. Enhanced speed and agility on land (not at Spider-Man level, but superior to Batman and Captain America) Night Vision Enhanced hearing (greater distance, wider range than the human spectrum, good at pinpointing where sounds originate) Limited telepathy and empathy as a side effect of his ability to command sea life. He is also a very skilled and experienced warrior, a master of numerous weapons and vehicles, a skillful and charismatic leader and has some familiarity with both magic and advanced technology. What qualities does Goku have that distinguishes him from superheros? He has superhuman capabilities and uses them for the benefit of others, ranging from his immediate family through the entire world and to the entire known universe. Is it because he's not human, but is an alien from another world? Superman... Is it because he uses martial arts? Lots of superheros do that. Is it because he uses blasts of energy? Green Lanterns, Cyclops, Jubilee, and numerous others come to mind. Side: Aquaman wins
