Are We United?

With all of the debate on homosexuality, sex, racism, religion, and terrorism, I have but to ask:
Are We United?

Are we united? The liberals want to rule the conservatives.The liberals want to be ruled by liberals. The conservatives want to rule the liberals. The conservatives want to be ruled by conservatives. And both are guilty of wanting to rule and be ruled! Both liberals and conservatives are united in principle, i.e. We should rule them all. However, there be some among us who neither seek to rule or be ruled by others. Conclusion: No man wants to be subject to another man's rule against his will. We can call it the 'axiomatic unity' that unifies all men. United but irreconcilable! Side: yes

Until we are fighting for everyone's freedoms and everyone's rights, we will never truly be a United country. And as long as this continues to happen, we will never truly be the offspring of the unruly, bastardy, rebellious men and women who died to forge a new and better future. Side: No
