Are all Non Believers going to Hell?

I would say there is no Hell but i want to see if people who do believe in it actually think that non believers will go to hell.

Revelation 21:6-8 says:

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victoriouswill inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Yep because that's how all loving the Christian god is.

It depends what you're basing your data on. If you want to go by the bible, yes. If you're going by Dante's Inferno, then if you're not baptized you're going to hell.

Yes my belief states that anyone who doesn't want to believe in God they must not want to be with Him in eternity with God so they would go to hell, but that can all change if they choose to believe in God.

Belief is not something you can choose. If I told you in 2 years a dragon is going to come and eat anyone that doesn't believe in him, do you think you could make yourself believe it? I don't just mean say you believe it, but I mean really truly believe it.

Go, go LittleMisfit! Brilliantly played the whole thread down. Cheers.

Belief is something you can choose. I chose to believe in God because I wanted to be with God for the rest of my life on this earth and then forever more after this. This earth is just a test but our real life begins when we leave this earth.

Plus dragons don't really exist because no one has really seen them and people came up with it in fantasy stories which are pretty interesting I admit but your just copying what my God says about if you don't believe in Him.... etc, and applying it to an something that doesn't exist and trying to scare me about it or make me feel frightened so I don't know why you said that.

Side: Yes

Please. There is no proof that a hell or a heaven exists. No good person would be happy if their friend went to hell. This is why heaven and hell cannot coexist.

Side: No

What if hell doesn't exist? Then where do we go? Oh yeah, the same place other dead people go, nowhere.

I think this debate was based on the assumption that there is an eternal inferno.

Silly really. It seems like many of the "mortal sins" are outdated biological imperatives. What kind of God makes a being natured then tells him to counter it for his own indulgence and amusement. At least the devil is keeping it real, saying what he means and doing it to. To bad O don't think every one who isn't the chosen is going to hell. If it is true then we have an all seeing, all knowing, all powerful god who had to screw up with a few billion humans to get what he wanted. He just seems to have the Zeus problem. "If he is all knowing how did Promithius steal fire?" "If god is all knowing, how did the serpent temp behind his back?"

Side: No
1 point

You see God knew the serpent was there. The bible said humans at heart are corrupt and evil. God tells you to counter the evil inside you and become pure. Satan's job is to kill, steal, decieve, trick, and destroy. The problem is most people don't know about God at the core because they haven't read the bible from front to back. I don't see how one could argue against something they don't entirely know about.

He knew it was there. He made it. Humans evil at heart. He made that to. Satan is evil. 3 guesses on who made that thing. The point is if he is all knowing he saw this all coming and decided it was still an awesome idea. Why in the ever loving hell would you design something to fail and then punish it. Its like me breaking my kids leg, then punishing him if he doesn't snap back into shape even thought I know that is impossible.

.

The fact is the only reason people give god a pass on this simple logic is because he is who he is. He can do it so it must be right. He has some kind of Vague plan. And yeah I read how the world is supposed to end. It's also comically vague and metaphoric. I just don't put a lot of stock in Christianity.

.

As for reading that book, I literally had a whole class of it in Catholic private school. Honestly I have ditched a lot of the knowledge by now, but even in a saturated environment and with study it makes no sense. The only reason I remember Revelations was it was more interesting than a profits bones bringing people back to life. One arrow to kill a quarter of humanity? ^^ Thats going on the youtube montage. Mark of J eat your heart out.

Side: No

No. According to the bible the anti-christ will rise. People will have a choice to take what the bible calls "the mark of the beast". If they take that then when Jesus comes back you die and are then judged. If you didn't choose the mark of the beast but also didn't align with god then you will still live but during the thousand year reign of Jesus you will be seen as foolish because you will only live for about 120 years. The followers of christ will live longer like 500+ up to about 900 years since Jesus will break the curse of sin and death. That would be a non-believers time to allign with God. The believers who died before the 1000 year reign will be resurrected and given new bodies. They won't be able to have children either. The non-believers will be able to so each new generation will have the chance to allign with God or remain to themselves. After the 1000 year reign the devil will be set free(he is chained up for the thousand year reign) and he will come back with much more sin and deception then ever and attempt to trick people or deceive people into following him. If the non-believers or even the believers allign with Satan then after that they will be judged and heaven and earth will come together as one and form the new haven for the constant believers and all the others will be sent to hell. So not really but it depends on how you look at the question.

Oh gosh, I must wonder, are you joking or do you really believe that?

Because that's completely crazy.

What makes that sort of "belief" crazy?

Define crazy, other than this...

To me, crazy is when a person murders their children and stacks their bodies up from youngest to oldest then proceeds to claim innocence. (this is a true story, look it up)

Crazy is also when a person jumps out of an airplane or helicopter and parachutes from thousands of feet in the air. (extreme sports happen all the time)

Crazy is also when a group of peoples believe they can conquer the world using their weapons, money, and lust. (many kings and emperors of our histories past)

Crazy is when the Spartans threw their "unhealthy" children off of a cliff because their elders believed them to be unfit for society.

I do not believe "crazy" is the proper word to define the book of revelations in the bible, nor do I believe if people want to believe in it that they too are crazy.

It is hard to define, and crazy is not the correct term.

Perhaps the correct term would be "almost incomprehensible", or "possible"....not crazy.

Do I believe it? No. This is a christian oriented debate asking if non-believers are going to hell. I simple just explained the process that says if you believe in God and you want to know if "all" non-believers are going to hell that not all will go.

Cool. Sounds like the time of the gods, which is supposed to come and go every few thousand years. But then, they really don't care who they kill in that one.

Side: No

No. Nobody is going to hell. Hell doesn't even exist, nor does heaven.

Side: No

No there is a religion (I can't remember which one) That lets people who believe in a different god to them still go to heven.

But, I do feel that in order to get to heaven you have to believe in SOMETHING.

When I die fuck it i wanna to go to hell

cause I'm a piece of shit it aint hard to fucking tell

it dont make sense going to heaven with the goodie goodies

dressed in white, i like black tim's and black hoodies

god would probably have me on some real strict shit

no sleepin all day no geting my dick licked

hanging with the goodie goodies loungin in paradise

fuck that shit i wanna tote guns and shoot dice

all my life ive been considered as the worst

lying to my mother even stealin out her purse

crime after crime from drugs to extortion

i know my mother wish she got a fucking abortion.

I swear to God I wanna just slit my wrists and end this bullshit

Throw the Magnum to my head, threaten to pull shit

And squeeze, until the beds, completely red

I'm glad i'm dead, a worthless fuckin' buddha-head

The stress is buildin' up, I can't,

I can't believe suicide's on my fuckin' mind

I want to leave, I swear to God I feel like death is fuckin' callin' me

But naw you wouldn't understand

You see its kinda like the crack did to Pookie, in New Jack

Except when I cross over, there ain't no comin' back

Should I die on the train track, like Remo in Beatstreet

People at the funeral frontin' like they miss me

My baby momma kissed me but she glad i'm gone

She know me and her sister had somethin' goin' on

I wonder if I died, would tears come to her eyes?

Forgive me for my disrespect, forgive me for my lies.

There are plenty of atheists in Heaven. Plenty of people do good works in this world and they will not be prevented from entering Heaven if they are a Non-Believer.
