Are children being brought up in a better society today than a few decades ago?
I was reading a review by Roger Ebert a while back, when I read this: "Some of today's teenagers are more wounded and cynical than their parents ever were. And for some of them sex is not an undiscovered country" [as apposed to the 1960's]
Would you agree with such a statement? And would you say that such a change is a positive aspect of the modern day upbringing?

I dont think so. i think that theres far to much information overload through TV, internet, and cellphones and WAAAY too much focus on "pop culture". I mean who the fuck gives a shit about Lindsey Lohan's 5th DUI? I also think its far too politically correct. And i mean in a bad way. Like in the 80s through the 90s it was a little tougher going along in the household and school. You were treated like more of an adult. Now its too mushy and shit. Treat me like a goddamn adult because im stronger and smarter than most adults i know and im not just saying that. I know for a fact i grew up in the wrong era. Fuck all this swag, yolo, pop culture bullshit. I want white walled tires on my Aero Supersport cruisin down the highway with all them money in the world like some kind of Gatsby character.
