Are embryos people?

Hello:

Take the case of the wealthy couple who had frozen embryos in storage, and were killed when their private plane crashed.  Do the embryos inherit their parents wealth??   What if a surrogate carried the embryos to term, would they then inherit the money?  What if they lived in a "fetal person-hood" state?  If they did, that would mean the embryos, as "persons", absolutely WOULD be entitled to their parents fortune..  Why not?  They're PEOPLE.

Speaking of which, if a woman lived in a person-hood state, and miscarried, should she be required to report it to the Womb Squad?  If the Squad thinks she self induced her miscarriage, should she be charged with murder??

Just curious.

Well, there was the British Prime Minister, William Pitt the Younger, and then his even younger brother, Harold Pitt the Embryo.

So I guess an embryo can be considered to be a budding lying, cheating, cocaine snorting, rootin-tootin politician.

You honestly don't know what a baby would do when he or she grows up. When a child; son or daughter wise is growing up, he or she will be influence by the mother and father who takes care of them. Kids learn quick and yes, they can become influenced to do great things for good or for bad. However, does that mean embryos should be killed in a mother's womb EVEN AFTER SHE CHOSE to have a child with a man? No. It is murder and so the woman should either take responsibility or before having pre marital sex, say no to the man. If you don't want a child, don't have sex. Otherwise, you will need to take responsibility. It also takes two to have a child; one man and one woman. Both need to take responsibility. That's why schools used to have lessons on 'Teen sex and drugs' and the negative results from it; such as depression, early teen pregnancy, difficult decisions, STDs/STIs which include hepatitis and AIDs/HIV.

You've created a strawman of your opponents' position. Although uncomfortable with the idea of killing embyos, the right didn't seriously begin fighting the left until they started doing late term abortions and partial birth abortions where the baby is pulled half way out of the vagina, stabbed in the head, and it's brains are sucked out through a tube. It's body is then thrown away to be disposed of. That's just straight up murder with no semantics. There's no difference between that and killing it in a crib. Killing it in a crib would get decades of prison time and for obvious reasons.

So you joined 4 years ago;- Such a fucking yarn, who do you think you're kidding you dickless shitbag?

I see you're a standard anti-strawman racist.

What have strawmen ever done on you?

Why do you pick strawmen up in straw bars, take them home then set them alight?

That's you kind all over.

I think the legal maximum time period for an abortion is 26 weeks.

So in this context I assume that from 26 weeks onwards the foetus must be considered to be a partially developed human being.

All reasonable people will recognize that a life form in such an underdeveloped state is incapable of anything except instinctively fighting for survival within the mother's womb.

Even though this continued phase of mental and physical maturing will resume well after birth the born child will be entitled to become heir to its just and lawful inheritance.
