Ruels are human inventions, the are by their very nature illusory. Look, some are there for verty good reasons i.e. so we can't freely kill oneanother, but in my opinion they are not real.

a rule has no meaning if it cant be broken. the enforcement of a rule is only as strong as the (perceived) penalty 4 breaking it

im not saying rules should be broken.

Rules are no more than guidelines. They bear no authority, they just teach how to do, or help a person do, any given task. They "should" be broken once you master the task you're performing. But only wisely.

“Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.” ~ The Dalai Lama

You can take the example of music. If you look into the technical side of certain artists performances and compositions, you'll be amazed at how many of them break certain rules. And that's what makes them special, if they do it wisely.

Yes, they are.If they weren't meant to be broken then why is there penalties in the rules?!

Side: yes

breaking rules can benefit the common good of people. Take Rosa Parks as an example, she broke the rule of no blacks sitting in the front of a bus, therefore changing our society in the long run!

Side: Yes

Some rules have to be broken because there will always be exceptions.

Side: Yes

A rule is an expressed regulation or principle which governs conduct. They are made expressly not to be broken and can only be broken due to their being expressed.

If they were made to be broken, then like it would be the Great Depression all over again.

Side: No

I would say no because they help you in life if they make since because there are dumb ones out there, like the one at my school if you wear black you will be suspended because its a violent color meaning you are in a gang. What a retarded administration.

If you break the rules there will be serious consequences, some of which you might not have foreseen. The point is there could be things which you failed to anticipate so it's best to not break the rules.
