Are the top ranked CD-users deemed as more knowledgeable as compared to other platforms? I think history has taught us that knowledge and popularity are not always related. In fact, it frequently works in the opposite direction. People become ingrained in their belief structures and then someone new turns up wanting to turn them upside down. It makes people angry. If you consider the Renaissance as an example, you begin to understand what I mean. There was a lot of pushback from the Catholic Church against science and the use of reason. The theory of evolution, one of the strongest ideas in modern science, took decades to take hold because religion was still extremely dominant in society and people simply didn't want to believe it.
