If help is possible and you can give it are you morally obligated in helping that other person in need?

Morality is not just negative; it is also positive.

Side: Yes

Okay. Can you elaborate and explain why the "yes" side is correct?

Is it moral to see a homeless man begging for food and not give him something? Is it moral to watch someone kill someone and do nothing? Morality is not just negative but also positive. We are to be Christ like to be morally perfect, which is to love God, first, and to love our neighbor second. To love a neighbor and to be Christ like is to give everything we have for him or her. That is positive morality, not just negative.

Side: Yes

I believe that we are all morally inclined to help those in need when we are able to.

Side: Yes

Idk if it's an obligation, but I've always helped people in need when I see them.

I think if you can help then you should.

To a certain point, yes. .

Side: Yes

Morality is subjective so no. My morals, not saying they do, could actually forbid me from helping others in need maybe because I feel helping them will hinder them in the long run etc.
