Are you a good athlete? If so, brag here!
Good for you, bro! Martial arts is a great workout. It also build confidence and discipline. Don't worry about you sucking. Who cares? So long as you have fun! Don't give it up! I do a little Kendo. And Kenjitsu. What's your specific martial art? Karate? Tae kwan do? Let me know! Thanks for contributing to my thread! 2

I've had boxer conditioning for quite a few years and though I've been out of it for a while I still can hit surprisingly fast and hard. Not that I'm climbing in the boxing ring, I'm too old for that and have no reason to do it. But if a random stranger were to think I'm just a vulnerable old man they're in for a sudden and shocking flattening. Hey....boxing is great conditioning! You don't need to climb in the ring. Just hitting a heavy bag, on your toes, with constant combos, for three minute rounds will make most people winded. And the speed bag is great for hand eye coordination. I like to go over to the speed or heavy bag for a couple minutes, between the weight stations, when I work out in the gym, just to keep that heart rate up to the target level. Thanks! 2

All of the above. Except I can't swim cuz I'm black and don't like golf. I throw sharp objects and make them stick inside, from far off. I can use anything as a weapon and proficiently, as long as I can pick it up and swing it. My Punches per second, with full extension and high power is 8. And I can kept this up at a steady rate for about 47 secs. Kicks per second is 6 with moderate power and a 17 second duration. I can run 13 feet straight up a wall then turn around and run straight back down. Those facets display the density of my attributes rather than the level of my skill... Words can not even begin to describe... Really! Assuming you're being honest, eight blows a second for almost a minute is awesome. I reckon I could only do maybe five a second for thirty seconds or so. But I hit pretty hard. Lots of cross checks and collisions with the ice have torn the a.c. joint in my right shoulder. So the speed in that arm has slowed a bit. Do you throw those...what are they called?....I wanna say shikara or something....those ninja throwing stars? As kids we would throw them at a target drawn on the fence. No offence but I am skeptical on your six kicks per second. And your 100 mile per hour Slap shot. Do you even play hockey? When and where? I take my hockey pretty seriously. Be warned. I will nab a fraud. Other than that...thanks! What martial art do you practice? I do Kendo. I really don't know how hard I hit because I don't fight. I just assume that I am hitting hard.. whenever the heavy bag nearly wraps around my arms when I'm knifing and backfisting. I also have a terrible tear in my right shoulder. Dislocated and separated it. Never went to the doctor. I think a couple of muscles are dead there, actually. o.o For the most part, I throw knives and whatever other sharp or pointed objects that I can find e.g. screwdrivers, broken chair arms which were severed at an angle...etc I'm still looking for decent throwing stars(shuriken) I am skeptical about my kicks too. I think I could do them faster and longer if my junk would stop getting in the way... or maybe more cushioning... No I don't play Hockey. But I can smack the fuck out of anything. What Martial Arts do I practice? Any that I've ever set eyes on and whatever my instincts tell me. Some people have said my fighting looks like this...others that...but I hardly ever know which of my movements that are referring to.. The most recent commenter said that what I was doing looked like Capoeira Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics and music, and is usually referred to as a game. Which is funny because I was actually trying to mimic fighting/dance style that I saw on a Tekken game. My main focus right now is weaving Judo, Taekwondo, Wing Chun and Ba Gua Zhang together... Currently doing research on my movements to see which martial arts they are related to, so that I can preform more combos. One may think ....that putting too much focus on several different styles will cause confusion and indecisiveness during battle, but I think I have a good idea of what is and isn't practical. 1
