In the USA, school shootings have become more frequent in the last decade. Due to this negative situation, lobbyists have proposed that teachers carry guns into the classroom as a method of protection for the teacher and students.

My kids will be out of school by the time they allow teachers to carry guns. So, I support the measure. I would like to turn on the news and see a solitary gunman behind a slide while 3 teachers take up positions behind the swing set and shoot it out during lunch. The headlines would probably be, "Gunfight at the O.K. Playground" ;) Side: Yes(agree)

No, this is not what lobbyists or anyone is advocating. Other than hillbillies anyway… There are representatives who propose armed security guards at schools, higher safety/security technologies and training for teachers and staff in case of an emergency. The "gun toting teachers" straw man is hype created by media vomit. Side: No(disagree)
