Out of body experiences/astral projection

First let me state that you need to relax your body. Studies done on people who claim to be having an OBE show that when monitored, their body is in a more relaxed state than it is during sleep. This information right here should get your cogs thinking about what that means.

Heres what i do when i meditate or just relax and its pretty helpful...


If youre laying on youre back do this: do NOT move at all, but stay awake. When you get the urge to turn over, or move, fight the urge, no matter how strong the urge gets you must not move a muscle. This is your body checking to see if your mind is still awake. It also helps to have socks on, sweats, and a long sleeve shirt.

have your arms at the side of your body.

Breathe in deep through your nose, and start counting to 100 really, really, really, really slowly.
It should take you a while to count to it...

This will, believe it or not, match your heart rate to your counting and it will make your body feel extremely relaxed, like its not even there. When i do this i can feel time start to slow down, and my heartrate start to disappear, its quite an interesting experience.  

Before you start to have an OBE make sure you say something out loud 5 times like "My mind will consciously stay awake while i have an out of body experience"

Or say "i will remember, i will remember, i will remember" It sounds silly but it works.

Focus on individual limbs and relax them until you can not feel them anymore. Like your feet, then your ankles, calves, thighs, and whatever else muscles you have.

It should take about an hour until you are fully completely relaxed. 

The signs that you are about to leave your body are unmistakable, you will hear an extremely loud vibrating noise, like a plane almost, or a strong gust of wind, do not get freaked out by this, its completely natural, but it can be terrifying.

But remember, we are trying to lose focus on our body, shift your focus away from your body, listen to the sounds around you, follow your breathing, and watch the neural discharges in your eyelids.

I must warn you, if you do have an OBE, this does not mean you wont be able to feel pain. You may have to literally go through hell, through your subconscious and you may come upon repressed feelings that you have completely forgotten... but these can be ignored if you have a strong will and a highly positive attitude. 

Do not expect anything to happen, as this will put you in a state of anxiousness, and the point here is TOTAL RELAXATION, do not expect an experience to come, anything you see will be an experience.

Also, it is much better to try and do this right after you wake up in the morning as opposed to before you go to bed, because 2 things: you will probably pass out at night and just fall asleep (although you can still stay conscious) and night time experiences are dull and dim, daytime experiences are full of vivid colors and experiences.

When you are out of your body it is not at all like a dream, in fact, your senses are much, much sharper than they normally are. You will not see objects as they appear in the physical world, you will see the counterpart to them, the enrgy part of it. The astral realm. This is one of the reasons this is hard to observe and study because the astral realm is not an exact duplicate of the physical realm, it kind of is, but it isnt.

 So basically, you are just trying to be relaxed as possible, the breathing technique is a MUST for this to work, you shouldnt do this under drugs because it wont be as good as an experience, it will just be laying around stoned, and the experience when you are not stoned is 100x better than when you are stoned. 

If you wake up during this, and you cant move, dont freak out, its just sleep paralysis, its a self defense mechanism, not demons. LOL.

So... ya.. try this tonight or in the morning. There are 2 methods for the morning: 1, when you wake up, you can not open your eyes (which is hard to train) but the chances of you falling back asleep are not as good, or 2. you can get up for an hour and do stuff and then go back to bed and the chance you will fall asleep again is high, but so is the chance for an OBE.

So i hope you guys try this out of curiosity, it is quite an amazing feeling.

edit OH! I forgot the most important part! When you hear the loud vibrations and are in a really relaxed state, try to force your spirit/astral body to sit up, or roll out of your body, keep doing this,, like you are swaying in a hammock, try to rock your astral body out of yourself, this is VERY helpful, imagine the feeling of climbing a rope out of your body, do not visualize it, but feel it!

edit OH! I forgot the most important part!
