At least 52 shot 8 fatally in weekend shootings across Chicago
CHICAGO -- Chicago police say at least 52 people were shot, eight fatally, in gun violence over the weekend.
"Chicago comes to life in the summer with festivals, barbecues, and family activities in the park," said Deputy Chief Elgin Holt. "Unfortunately, many of the South Side districts have been plagued with violence related to guns, gangs, and drugs for too long. And this weekend brought with it more of the same."

The level of violence, which typically spikes during the summer months, eclipsed that of the three-day Memorial Day weekend when at least 43 people were shot, seven of them fatally. Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson held a news conference Monday morning, calling the level of violence “despicable.” Gun control is working in the Windy City and 2020 Democrats are not praising that accomplishment. Festivals, barbecues, family events and black gangland shootings all pulsating to the incessant beat of the bongo drums. All this colourful merry making, drug and alcohol abuse, shooting and knifing diversity has replaced work. *Work, what is work asks Bongo 1 to Bongo 2. Oh that answers Bongo 2, is only for ''FOOLS AND HORSES'' The once industrious and prosperous city of Chicago has been Niggerised and is now, like so many other black dominated U.S., cities become a festering canker-sore on the American landscape. You know there was a time when everyone in the world recognised that America was an invincible industrial and military powerhouse whose might could only be eroded from within. The national self-loathing of the death-wish loony left globalists has the Country well down the road to nationwide suicide. The left wing politicians, who are no more than insurgents in pin-stripped suits and skirts, cannot complete the process of America's destruction quickly enough. The left doesn't want to acknowledge this because it would be acknowledging the failure of liberal policies. It's a liberally dominated city and they would have a hard time pinning this disaster on someone else. So, mum's the word on liberal debacles like this.
