That is the reason I used that word because not all religious are bat shit crazy, some believe in god but nothing more, none of the mumbo jumbo stories, just that there is a God, other nuts jobs or ready................. wait for it............ wait for it Fundamental religious people delude themselves disregarding ALL FACTS proven beyond a reasonable doubt and favor superstition because some 2000 year old books tell them so, that is what I meant my quote.

Another Key Word : I believe in science What the fuck is that? how do you believe in science, science is not like religion, science is a means of understanding, not a stance or a belief, science is a tool to figure out truths or build upon, like mathematics, or a hammer, not a stance or a belief like religion or what you believe the best color is, or best make and model of a particular vehicle, like those rednecks arguing over whats a better truck Chevy or Ford ect..
I get it perfectly, I think you don't, I understand the difference between the two, many fundamentalist don't.
Science just is, science is reality, science is a means to understand.
Religion is a stance, a belief, or opinion.
As for believing in the unknown, well God can fall under that category, because the concept of God is unknown and the unknown is fact, I also believe in religion, because it's fact that religion exist, but it's not fact what religion says about God.
Now for science, science exist, fact, what science deems to be true remains untrue (or a hypothesis, an educated guess) until it's proven fact, what's deemed to be fact is fact, no changing that, so science is a tool used by the reasonable mind to determine fact, religion on the other hand is a tool used by the unreasonable mind or diluted to determine fact before it's proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

What you do not understand is that science is merely ONE tool used by humans to understand life, not THE ONLY tool. Do you fucking grasp that? When have I ever said "Religion is the only way"? Never.
