Atheism and world peace ?? .... https://www.facebook.com/ --------------------------- Atheism and arrogance ... http://www.conservapedia.com/Atheismandarrogance Side: Seems legit
People kill over parking spots in the mall, over the last item in a store....people have used religion as an excuse, people have used race as an excuse....people kill. Yes, people have done horrific things in the name of religion and others have killed to "cleanse" their land from a certain religion. Side: Seems legit

I didn't click your link, but I don't have to. People kill for all sorts of reasons, good and bad, and it's simply unthinkable that no one has ever killed someone religious due to disagreeing with them being religious. This does not reject the fact, however, that religions and the religious are drenched with centuries of blood for which they are responsible. Side: Seems legit

Yes , debunked by the .... catholic enquirer:) how hilarious a rag put together by the tribe of child abusers . I've yet to hear of any leader of a country or indeed any individual claim he was committing atrocities in the name of atheism yet the opposite is true as the many leaders and individual who claim they are doing ' gods work ' George Bush and his ' holy crusade ' is one of many examples . Atheism is a position on just one thing and that is ... a lack of belief in a god ' end of story . You need to work on your " debunking " Side: Insert poorly excuse here
Has a war ever been fought in the name of atheism? No. Has a war ever been fought in the name of Christianity? Yes, many times. Very few people have killed over atheism but a huge number of people have killed over religion. Not to mention all the torture and executions that have been brought out in the name of god. Trying to use your argument to attack atheism is like saying that surgery shouldn't be performed because some people have died because of it. Side: Insert poorly excuse here

1. This is a silly, if not also a thoroughly common, argument. If the negative actions of any and all theists reflect badly upon all theists, all forms of religion and all religionists then it follows that the negative actions of any and all atheists reflect badly upon all atheists, all forms of irreligion and all irreligionists. This logical fallacy is called "Guilt by Association. He destroyed his own argument in the first paragraph. The act os one religious person does not reflect badly on all other forms of religion and nor does an action of one atheist reflect badly on all atheists. Side: Insert poorly excuse here
