this is how atheists / agnostics / rebels / pagans regard God ..... For even though they knew [about] God .. they did not honor him as God or give thanks .. but they became futile in their speculations .. and their foolish heart was darkened ...... http://dadmansabode.com/forum/ Side: true

Atheists do regard god/God as imaginary. There is no evidence FOR god being an actual being but that is not this debate. Atheists do not believe in a god or higher being. This means that Atheists believe it was brought upon this world by human IMAGINATION. Nothing came to the human race and said, "THERE IS A GOD!" Therefore, atheists believe that god is imaginary Side: false
Atheists believe every god that has been presented in history has flaws and is therefore imaginary, but each god is thought of as having the possibility of being real until the flaws are found. Atheists believe the gods that have been presented so far are imaginary. Side: true

I think you misunderstand... Atheists reject the existence of a higher being. Deists on the other hand believe that there is a higher being but they see flaws/don't believe in the gods/religions that are in place in the current society. Although a lot of people say, "I do not know if there is a god or not" or, "I think there is a god but I just can not decide which religion is correct," label themselves as atheists. In reality the first is agnostic by definition and the second is deist by definition. Side: false
