1) People who know how to debate don't need to censor opposition. Even if that opposition were to behave badly you still should have strong enough arguments to counter them without censoring them. 2) This is the ONLY debate website I've come across so far which indulges the debate creator with that kind of power. All the other sites functioned fine without it. 3) It essentially makes one person the judge, jury, and executioner. From a debate standpoint it is kangaroo court powers. 4) It is comparable to going to a gun range, shooting directly at other club members, and then taking all their guns and ammunition away while you continue to keep shooting at them. 5) The favorite retort to these arguments by the prime offenders is to stop whining. But the truth is those of us taking issue with the practice also have the ability to ban people on our own debates. We don't do it because we consider it wrong. Pointing out others doing it isn't whining, it's telling people demonstrating bad sportsmanship that they should be good sports instead, and then demonstrating with our own actions that we practice what we preach. I disagree that ANY time you ban somebody you are, as you so eloquently put it, a whining little bitch. Oh, don't get me wrong, we have a few whining little bitches here who DO misuse the ban rule, and will enforce it for the most petty transgressions. Not even for transgressions, really, but for just disagreeing. AintNow of course is the Queen of All Banning Bitches. Worse, he does something that makes a bitch look like a stud: PRE-ban! What the hell is that all about? That said, I DO think there are some justifiable reasons for banning. Like a troll who continually drives by just to disrupt your debate, and offers no worthy input at all. Also going way off topic, especially after a warning, or what they call "hijacking" a debate is also I think a ban-worthy offense. If someone were to be cyber bullying or getting personal within the debate toward you or any other user, would you not restrict their access? I have addressed the EXACT topic of conversation on every single debate you banned me from. You're just outright lying. The last one you posted cold case Christianity as a link (which is a stupid fucking way to set up debates. You can't even make the video show up in the webpage for convenience? And you can't even give a debate question worth discussing at all). And I posted a video that refuted that exact topic of discussion. And then you completely ignored everything else I asked which was why is the cold case Christianity guy any kind of authority? Yeah he's a detective but why does that make him an authority on proving biblical claims which require knowledge of other fields of study to validate? The entire content of my argument was addressing nothing more than exactly what you had posted the debate about. And in what way was that taking over? It was a response to your post. It also says that all of the dead, like you now, will be brought up before the Judgement Seat of Christ for the final judgement, and every moment of your time will be exposed with everything you have ever done or thought or imagined everywhere you were, and you will receive justice according to your words. The dead in Hell will all appear for Judgement, and then death and Hell will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Now isn't in a coincidence, that long before we were able to see the surface of the sun and what scientists call "plasma rain", that the sun resembles a lake of fire, and scientists point out that it has a flaming rain erupting from and falling back into it all the time? Wouldn't it be just like God to put the evidence of the reality of Hell right in your face? And if you find yourself there, which by the way you are talking my guess is that you will find yourself in Hell, I'm sure you will try to tell God He didn't give you enough evidence, but saying stupid things in Hell won't get you out. Do you really want proof? I'm praying for God to give you proof and I'm sure He will. I would believe it before forcing God to give it, but you will get it one way or another. If I were you, I would quit arguing against God and believe on Jesus from your heart, believing God has raised Him from the dead and will forgive you all of your sin and save you from Hell. When I ban you from a debate, you are gone forever and I"m not sorry for executing Justice on you. God became a man to die for your sins, paid your price with His own blood, and if you reject Him it is fair that you be forever rejected from life and left in Hell. You can't be saved from dying if God Himself does not save you, your dying will never end in Hell as it will end in this world, if you don't get saved from your sin. God does not have unlimited patience, Jesus never showed unlimited patience with people who did not want His mercy. God will run out of patience with you, and one hundred years is not even a drop of water in the ocean compared to eternity. You don't have much time for God to be patient with you, He will not chide with you forever. He's offering you forgiveness in the resurrection of His Son who died for your sins so you can be pardoned and not have to serve God by being in Hell as a testimony of His right to keep you in existence as a sinner. How can you expect God to forgive you when you are not sorry for your sins, not seeking His mercy, not admitting to His right to punish you? You are separated from God by your sin, it's your sin that makes you not see Him, keeps you out of Heaven. God made the way for your sin to be forgiven by becoming a man to die for your sin, He paid your price so He has the right to reject you and keep you in Hell with your sin if you will not believe on His Son, God the Son sent by God the Father to pay your price so you can be forgiven and saved in His resurrection. Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. If you will not believe, you cannot blame God for rejecting you and leaving you in Hell the same as you did not care that Jesus died for you. Saying "prove it" to me is the same as daring God to end your time now. I can't prove anything to you, you have to believe it out of concern for your own well being. If you don't care, why should I? Yet I do care enough to try to talk you out of the reality you are asking for with nothing good from God, no way of believing He loves you. But there are some people who need to be banned due to either personal insults or an inability to act in a manner benefiting the debate.
