Believing in God boils down to intuition?

"People who are more intuitive in the way they think and make decisions are more likely to believe than those who ruminate over their choices."

"Determining who believes in God and who doesn't may come down to a simple math problem: "A bat and a ball cost $1.10 in total. The bat costs $1 more than the ball. How much does the ball cost?""

It does certainly seem to me that people who profess a belief in god are more apt to jump to conclusions.

I wish there were some thoughtful theists that frequented this site. I have met some few, whose theology is of a variety that doesn't fit that stereotype, but don't hold your breath waiting to be challenged here on this one. :)

People are going to believe what they want to believe, then so be it.

5 cents.

B+(B+1)=1.10

solve for B.

Any ways, intuition is gut feeling, a loose guess, not something that is held on to in the same manner as belief in god is.

People generally don't say they have a gut feeling there is a god, they say that there must be or that they know there is.

Simply put, intuition isn't as absolute as faith, and those who believe in god have faith.
