Bernie Sanders' record speaks for itself. He has fought for the people all of his career, starting in college, when he fought segregation. He marched with MLK. He's been an effective senator, even through republican senates and administrations, and has stood out as the single most popular politician for years now. Trump has surely scammed an astounding number of people, if you're the sort of person that would call that leadership. Side: Bernie.

You have one guy who thinks my family and every family should get a chance to live and thrive, and then the other guy who thinks if you don't have money you should just go F yourself and die. So even if the guy who wants to protect my family has some policies I don't quite agree with I still have to choose him over the a-hole who doesn't give two sh!ts about me. And by the way, this same dynamic was true during the general election itself, it's just some fools believed the lies of Trump that he would fight for the common man. Nope, all he fights to do is squash the common man. Side: Bernie.

A Monarchy depends on inherited money and position. Trump is guaranteeing that the vast majority of money STAYS at the top, that the only ones who can own much of anything of REAL value are the "landed gentry" and he is deregulating any laws that would prevent major takeovers. Trump wants a monarchy, wants his family to be part of the royalty ... forever. If he gets that, we will have no choice BUT to call him "leader". Bernie, on the other hand, wants a democracy with an elected President, an elected Congress and Senate and does not want a man who thinks we were better off when we had slavery ... or a President that supports such a man .. (using both terms very loosely). Now, choose your leader. Side: Bernie.

Bronto, why do you write six posts every time you reply instead of just one? All of your false, dishonest BS could be compacted into one easy-to-block post, which then wouldn't clutter up the board for serious debaters. Incidentally, if you want to define someone (i.e. Sanders) by the worst single thing they have ever done, then let's apply the same standards to Trump, shall we? What's the single worst thing Trump has ever done, bronto? Was it one of his four rape attacks? Perhaps the one against the 12 year old girl? Or was it the subsequent threats he made against her and her family's lives if she ever told anybody? Or was it committing treason in order to win a US election? Was it the systematic housing discrimination he showed against minorities in the 1970s and 1980s? Or perhaps it was hiring illegal undocumented workers for his housing projects and then not paying them. With so many single worst things Trump has ever done, it becomes very difficult to pick just one above all the others. Side: Bernie.

Bernie Sanders versus Donald Trump: Who is a better leader? 1)Well let's see. One leads hundreds of companies. The other doesn't. 2)One overcame a "rigged system". The other didn't. 3)One beat Hillary. The other didn't. 4)One has the market and economy at record highs. The other wanted to give everyone a $20 check and healthcare where you can see the doctor of his choosing in a year to make the world a better place because that's what a government that's $20 trillion in debt can muster. Oh and bring in a few million more people who don't speak English or have any skills and stick them on this theoretical system that is overwhelmed already just for the hell of it, and hope we don't go bankrupt. Maybe the Chinese will feed us. The end. Side: Donald.
Bernie opposes welfare for the rich, supports for poor, disabled and needy only. He opposes torture, needless wars, supports single payer healthcare, tuition free public education, lgbt rights, I only disagree with him on abortion. Hillary was a shit leader that corporatist Democrats backed. I would so go for a Progressive third party. Side: Bernie.
