Best Final Fantasy Game
Though I have love for many Final Fantasy Games, I'll go with one that is relatively new: Final Fantasy: Revenant Wings for the DS. I love the gameplay, which is part RTS and part RPG. The bahamut battle will be one that I will never forget (mainly because it was so hard, but my strategy was funny). Runner up: Final Fantasy IV (II in US). Mainly because of that stupid boss that you had to use reflect on because it always healed. Was a good (although irksome) breath of fresh air from the normal battles where all you did was attack and heal, and didn't use support magics at all (seriously though, support magics are pretty worthless...). Final Fantasy XIII was easily the best. i dont really know if you could compare it to 13 since the graphics are kinda crazy but as for gameplay XIII definately sticks to its final fantasy roots in staying true to its theme and that storyline was solid. id say the most played one was probably X though with tidus, wakka, and auron and all them. the tactics series for the gameboy and psp like final fantasy tactics war of the lions for psp was definately a great game too. added a nrew flavor to the series. Side: Final Fantasy Tatics
FFVII is the one that gets all the credit, honestly though, I liked 8 and 9 better (I'm tired of typing all those v's and i's) I'm a FF nut, I recently replayed the original, 3, 4, and started 8 over again. (I don't have the ones in between ><) But going back to when it first came out, I don't think I was ever so involved in a game as FF2 (maybe 3 in Japan, the one with Cecil and Kain.) Me and a friend stayed up and played in shifts for 3 days straight, living on microwave pizza. (This was before you could just look online for every secret and where to go next if you got lost.) Side: Final Fantasy II
