When Poopy Pants made his pledge to nominate a black woman to Supreme Court he didn't specify who this person would be or whether or not she held the appropriate qualifications for the position. As promised I researched the controversy surrounding that appointment and noted that the dispute was not based on racial lines but on whether or not an outgoing President should make an appointment of someone whose tenure would extend well beyond their own remaining term in office. Was it fair? Well, it was politics, and, as it was legal its FAIRNESS would depend on which side of the political divide those making the judgement were positioned. This is a classic case of the futility of those who persist in raising the whataboutery scenarios in an attempt to mitigate an on going illegality. If you were in court defending a charge of let's say speeding, you couldn't enter a defence by asking the Judge;- WHAT ABOUT ALL THE OTHER VEHICLES THAT BREAK THE SPEED EVEY DAY? Regardless of what side of the fence you're on it's worth bearing in mind that by raising the Obama incident we're not comparing like with like. This attempt at appeasing the likes of B.L.M., will only serve to have the opposite affect and give succour to this paramilitary organization. The more President Poopy Pants gives way to the B.L.M., the more they will demand, and undoubtedly receive.
