Book first or movie first?

Was curious as to what order people tend to consume media that exists as both a book and a movie.

I usually read the book first before the movie because the movie can leave details out that aren't in the movie.

Ha, it's funny because he meant to say 'book' instead of 'movie'...

Side: Book First!

Movies will sometimes give shout outs to the book that you would not reconize unless you have read it.

Book first! This is because while we read we develop an image of the characters and then when we watch the movies our characters come to life. Secondly, watching the movie first puts a banner on our imagination but going for books we imagine wild. Moreover, for me its real fun to point out every single tiny miny mistake or variation in the movie. Lastly, I would say that the small details in the books give us the proper and the best view or idea about the characters and their personality.

It depends on what type of media your prefer and which media came first.

Assuming most books precede movies:

Reading a book gives you a personal interpretation of a narrative.

Watching a movie gives you someone else's interpretation of a book.

Based on my own experiences, books tend to be better than movies. So, I would read the book first because it provides the better narrative. I can watch the movie later to see someone else's interpretation of various elements in a book.

Side: Book First!

I like to read the book first, so, when I go to the theater, I am already accustomed to the characters and to the storyline.

It seems to me that the answer is actually very simple, but buying books or reading them has long been much more profitable and easier. Personally, for example, I read constantly only from the site https://freebooksummary.com/romeo-and-juliet-reflection-71840 which contains a huge amount of books and material. Recently I read a novel by Romeo and Juliet, it’s very convenient, try it and I’m sure that you will become a member of this site very quickly

I think it's still worth reading the book. After all, the book is a primary source. I used to want to be a writer, but now I just work at WriteMyessayToday https://writemyessaytoday.us/ It helps me not lose my writing skills and help students at the same time. But I think I will still write a book that will definitely be made into a movie

I feel that reading a book stimulates the imagination whereas movies deaden creative thought as the filmmakers have crafted the visual scenes and settings.

Side: Book First!

I was once a proponent of reading the book first, but I've changed my mind in recent years.

My reasoning is: When I read the book first, and then watch the film, I can't help but notice all of the things that were truncated or left out entirely to fit into the movie format. On the other hand, when I watch the film first, I can look forward to a wealth of additional detail when I read the book, with the added benefit of being able to easily visualize each character et al.

Of course, some may be better than I at imagining the appearance of a character based on the description, so I may be lacking in that regard. Furthermore, there have been a number of casting choices that I feel are very misguided in the world of film.

Even so, given my experiences, I cast my vote to Movie First.

Movie first, and book never.

Side: Movie First!

Like thousand1, I used to be the other way around. These days though, I don't read many books and I tend to be pickier about books than movies. So I like at the movie as like a cliff-notes sort of version of the book. If it impresses me and people who have read it give me more reason to be interested, I'll consider giving it a read.

The books are usually very long, so if you watch the movie and you like it, you would feel like the book is worth it, but if the movie was horrible, then you won't waste your time on the book.

Nearly 90 percent of the time if you read the book first you are going to be disappointed in the movie. I'm an avid reader so if a movie comes up and I haven't read the book, I'll hold off on reading it until I watch the movie.
