Challenge Debate: Burden of proof
NowASaint listed opinions about things the bible says I asked for refrences and such a debate began taking place. NowASaint has banned me from multiple of his platforms and will not respond Hopefully you will now. It is up to the one who made a point to be able to prove it. For why would the opposite of you prove your own point for you?
NowASaint listed opinions given to him from the bible yet refuses to reference them. Instead he says I need to do research. So to put this literal he wants me to help prove his own point for him.
You need to prove my point for yourself. I am not asking you to do it for me. You need to know for sure that your sins are forgiven and you are going to heaven the moment your time in this world is over. I cannot by providing references convince you to confess your sin is worthy of dying and Hell forever and I cannot by providing references convince you to receive the Savior by faith to have your sins covered by His blood so you are forgiven and won't have to pay in Hell forever as a sinner.
"You need to prove my point for yourself." This simply is not logical, your saying in a argument your opponent has to be able to site sources for your own argument! are you mad!? Hey dude sorry but there is grass 10 feet under the dirt in china. Oh? you don't believe me go find out yourself. This simply is not reasonable the person making an argument has to be able to prove or site there own sources for their own argument.
I have stated the truth. If you don't believe it, that's not my problem. People told me the truth, I didn't believe it, I didn't ask them to prove it, I investigated for myself and well....I think it's better to say the truth found me rather than I found the truth...but now I know the truth and the promise of knowing the truth is that it will make you free. My freedom increases over time though it may have some ups and downs...but overall it increases. You need to find the truth for yourself and if you won't listen to me there's no point in arguing with you.

Any way That may be you good job for that but you have to prove your own point directly you cant say blah and say now you prove it.
You have to prove it because this is a debate. And yes asking you to prove your statement is debating, because your arguments are invalid without proof of them. so in exposing this I am beating you every time you do not do so.
If you don't believe my point, you have to show why you don't believe it or you are not debating. Saying "prove it" is not debating, it's a childish game and you need a good fatherly schooling in manners.
You need to be saved before your dying is finalized. You want me to prove it? Prove me wrong. Before you can prove me wrong, you will have proof that I am right and even if you must wake up in Hell to believe you need to be saved from it, you still won't have to believe it is forever so it will take forever before you believe it is forever.

There's nothing to refute. You are being intellectually lazy and you have pretty much accused me of lying when I say the post which set you off out of control over is compiled from well known Bible verses and passages which you can easily find. If you are going to call me a liar, you need to investigate the facts which you seem to be too lazy to do.

I have clearly shown my case which is you have to prove your own point not rely on the person you are debating to do so. And it was not your argument it was the description in a debate you made and banned me from for asking what in the bible gave you those opinions. And yes I am christian.
Ask me one specific question of one point in my statement from which you wanted Bible reference and I will give you chapter and verse. It's time for you to get a Sunday School lesson.

One idea behind the burden of proof is that someone has to prove something or we have no reason to agree with the claim being made. We could then say that person has a “burden of proof.” The person should prove (or argue for) some assertion they have made. If I tell you that fairies exist, then you could argue that I have the “burden of proof” because the existence of fairies is far-fetched or you simply know of no reason to agree with me.
Imagine that I say that fairies exist, and you disagree. I might then say that you have no evidence that fairies don’t exist, so you should believe in them. My reply would seem to irrationally reverse the burden of proof. It seems like I should give you a reason to believe in fairies and that you have no burden to give evidence that they don’t exist.

I don't have to provide sources for my statements, the things I said are true. If you do not think they are true, then you provide reason why you think they are untrue. You are not following your own stupid rules.

You are not a Christian, you need to be born again to be a Christian. You are trying to earn salvation, or earn the right to exist outside of Hell.
You need to read, and re-read, prayerfully and carefully, the gospel of John until your eyes are opened and you see the Light, the truth, and are saved from Hell.
I was done with this debate a long time ago. Saying "prove it" is not debating, it's only being disruptive, showing the disgrace of our public school system for teaching kids how to disrupt society rather than contribute to it.

If I tell you that you are on your way to Hell, and you say "prove it", all I can see is wait and see where you end up. This "burden of proof" idea is not a rule of life, or a rule of debate.
If I say God loves you, and you say "prove it", I say the burden of proof is on you to show why God does not love you. Simply saying "prove it" without making your own statement is not debating.
If you say fairies exist, and I disagree, then I am debating and the burden of proof is on me to show they do not exist the same as the burden of proof is on you to prove that they do exist. And the fact of the matter is, if fairies exist and you tell me they exist, the statement is truth and not debatable. Truth is not debatable, only a fool tries to debate against the truth and the person who knows the truth has no obligation to convince the fool that the truth is the truth. I do not use Christianity as a excuse to debate I have only said I was christian never used that to justify anything. Yes I believe the bible. Yes I believe the English translation is almost perfect we are human so I am sure there is some error.

Sinners deserve to burn in Hell forever. You need to be saved, you need to be 100% certain that your sins are forgiven and you are going to Heaven. I am saved, I am 100% sure my sins are forgiven and I'm going to heaven the moment my time is over in this world. Until you know you are saved with absolute certainty you are not a Christian.
Apparently you know little of what the Bible says, which explains why you fail to recognize the well known and often quoted Bible verses I compiled my statement from. I'm telling you the statements come from the Bible. If you don't believe me, then present statements from the Bible contrary to mine. There is no burden of proof on me. Sinners can never deserve to go to Heaven, you can't earn the right to enter Heaven, eternal life through Jesus Christ is a gift from God you must receive. You are not worthy of this gift, you need this gift to be saved from Hell. You are worthy of eternal dying in the fire of Hell forever and nothing else.
What do you use Christianity for, and what is your excuse for debating? How do you justify being outside of Hell? You believe the Bible but you believe it has errors?
