CD, The most inward looking site on the internet.
On checking the recent history of the main participants of this site I note it consists mainly of a juvenile rabble of mudslinging degenerates whose sole purpose is to lambas6t each other. This site reflects what can happen to a society when left unregulated and the bully boys are allowed to run amok.
This site has all but imploded due to the rabble and their alts having junior grade squabbles among themselves. On checking the list of issues up for debate I note that 90% of them consist of internal bickering.

You are not at all wrong about this site, it is one of the most congested gutters of the internet. It is clogged with the chemical waste produced by it's members. Everyone here pretty much thinks they're the only intelligent person here, and has given up on trying to "reason" with their opponents. We are a closed community of trolls and angry sociopaths who wish we could just kill each other IRL and get it over with but instead we just talk shit on the internet.
I am by no means an exception to this. You are wrong about one thing though, "everyone of substance" has not been ousted because there never was anyone "of substance".
I have to comment that I don't consider myself to be particularly intelligent but do enjoy pitting my limited intellect against anyone who is genuinely interested in participating in purposeful and meaningful debate.

This site is a microcosm of our society. So many people have become self absorbed children spending their time looking for any responses to their vulgar rants. Looking to the next tweet on their cell phone, etc. all while living off other's hard work and sweat.
The only political issues they get involved with are those having to do with free stuff. They believe they are entitled to other's money. These are the Millenials that will shape our future. The future looks very bleak, and if these Socialist Democrats beat Trump, the nation will deteriorate at a much faster clip.

How about establishing moderators? Right now it's just a mess with more debates trying to slam people then debates of actual substance. Maybe even establishing a debate of the week or month kind of thing?
That's an absolutely terrible idea. Every website which ever does that ends up the same way. It turns into a competition to see who can befriend the mods and have all their enemies banned. The mods are never neutral, so they punish people based on their political, religious or social beliefs and then lie about it when questioned. Essentially, you are hiring trolls to police trolls.

I've been trying to think about it. Honestly I'd be more inclined to trust someone who hasn't made debates attacking other members, or spammed the site with multiples of the same debate. Perhaps moderators should all have to agree if one of them flags a debate that isn't in the spirit of the debate. In which case I think I'd choose a few whose view's differ from time to time but who have remained partial and fair. I'd love to toss out some names but I truly have no idea who plays who in here with multiple accounts. Those I would trust to not abuse it have mostly left but I think it would have to boil down to those who haven't been reduced to immediately attacking a person instead of an idea and none of us are innocent of that really. That's why I think you should choose, say like, three or five partial moderators and they all need to agree to either ban or remove a debate.

There aren't enough trustworthy people for 5. Any kind of combination of 5 people on CD would lead to the mods almost always not having unanimous agreement about a ban. It should definitely be myself, you and SunTzu who are the only mods.
