Can both Atheists and Theists coexist together in good faith?

Some can, but some people don't want to live peacefully, some just want to argue.

I do drink coffee with a few mormons, living in Utah. And they're a delightful bunch as long as you don't get into religion. Respectin' them boundaries. Ooh yeah.

I think I'm a pretty nice and respectful Atheist? Wouldn't you agree Srom? Or not? Silas is pretty religious and he's my internet bro... sometimes I make some questionable comments but I'm usually joking. But you can't expect all Atheists and Theists to be completely civil to one another on a debate site.

Its quite easy as long as religion doesn't get involved. I'm a bit neutral because mega theists or mega atheists can't live with the opposite. Once both Atheists and Theists understand that just because they have an opinion, doesn't mean it has to be right, they can live in...harmony. "Good Faith" is a very poor choice of words.

I believe that they can, as long the respect and freedom of choice to choose the religion or belief they want to.But again the respect must be there, otherwise this can lead into a clash. As we had different scenarios during the last decades where people don't respect other, and leaves anger, clashes, dispute which were quiet violent.

of course they can. although they have different beliefs and follow different lifestyles, i don't see how they'd hate each other for not following their God or even believing in Him.

diversity is what brings people together most of the time, if not always. an even world would be dull.

I don't see why not. I do it all the time and they don't seem to mind. I'm assuming you don't mean religious faith, either. Just general "i trust you won't stab me in the back repeatedly" faith.

Let's be honest here. Atheists would simply be lost if there were no theists present.

Side: Yes

Both sides can get along. The practice of tolerance is the key.

Side: Yes

Atheists dont have faith .

I don't think "good faith" was the appropriate choice of words...

Yeah... that threw me off a little too but I answered the debate anyway? Meh?

If theists could learn to mind their own business then I think they could coexist "in good faith". However, we already know that will never happen.

What do you mean by "mind their own business"?

Practice their faith and talk to others about it, basically. In that case though, atheists should also mind their own business. But we know that won't happen.
