Can intellegece defeat hard work?
The two are not at odds with each other which is why I always didn't like the saying "work smarter not harder". Certainly hardwork without intelligence can prove to be less fruitful than the two joined and intelligence without hard work is certainly wasted. If for some reason an either or scenario presented itself then winning depends on the situation to overcome. A purely physical situation may favor hard work while perhaphs abstract thinking would be required in another situation. Of course a mixture of both attributes would aid overcoming either situation. 1
