Proof that the psyche and innate character of the majority of mankind comprises of virtue and high moral standards is well documented in most, not all, but most of the Holy Scriptures as authored and scripted by mere human mortals.

No divine prompting and no heavenly guidance.

Just a serious of sound ethical principles written by a collection of decent, right-minded academics of their era.

It doesn't appear so. We let the secularists take over Western culture, and now they run people out of restaurants, murder 9 month old babies happily, tell the police in Portland to stand down and not protect anyone who isn't a leftists, etc.
